Senior employee introduction Interview with Shibuya

Yuho Shibuya

Department name
Manufacturing Department, System Design Division, Electrical Section

Trial and error is fun!
What is rewarding about electrical design?

My main job is to create electrical drawings for industrial machinery.
It's a lot of fun to work through the design process through trial and error and turn ideas into reality.
It is necessary to design optimal electrical controls that meet the different requirements of each device.
"Electricity" is an essential element for operating equipment,
I find it appealing that these characteristics can be utilized to enable a variety of control functions.
In particular, the electrical circuits I designed are directly connected to the operation of the device,
I feel a great sense of accomplishment when the train starts moving smoothly during the test run.
Working together as a team to overcome challenges
The moment the device actually starts working, you can't help but smile.
There was also a moment when I realized that stable operation of the equipment would lead to more efficient operations for our customers.
This is what makes it rewarding.

When I first joined the company, I was told, "If I'm going to be in charge of machine control,
"It's important to first understand the structure of the device," he thought.
I applied for training in the assembly department.
This experience has been extremely helpful in my current job.
We are now able to keep the on-site perspective in mind during the design stage.

Aim to be a professional!
What's the next step?

Because electricity is invisible,
Great care must be taken to avoid mistakes.
Therefore, we do not neglect to check each and every item,
We strive to proceed with our work carefully.

In the future, I will aim to further improve my skills.
I plan to try to get certified as an electrician.
I look forward to deepening my skills and being able to take on design challenges with more free-thinking ideas.
Gradually gaining knowledge and experience
"An engineer who can be trusted with everything from design to equipment setup"
My goal is to become a

A must-see for job seekers!
Tips for choosing a company you won't regret

I first learned about our company at a joint company information session.
My senior at school worked at this company.
The smoothness of the process leading up to the company tour was a great plus.
This was the driving force behind my decision to join the company.

When choosing a company, it is important not only to research the industry,
It's important to think deeply about what you're interested in.
If you can do what you love as a job,
It will make your daily work more enjoyable.
For example, do you like making things or do you want to deepen your skills?
Do you find working in a team rewarding?
I think clarifying your own values is key to preventing mismatches after joining the company.
By identifying your aptitudes and interests,
It should lead to a satisfying career choice.
